Andrew Visscher is a literary scholar interested in American modernism, rural and indigenous folklore, and postmodern ruralism.  Originally from the mountains of western Montana, he is currently serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army Advanced Civil Schooling Program. A husband, father, and lifelong student of baseball—America's most literary sport.
