Bio

Erandika de Silva is an occasional writer and a PhD student interested in women's lifewriting, narrative medicine, and disability studies. She has taught at the University of Peradeniya and the University of Jaffna, and she currently teaches composition at the University of Missouri, Columbia. She contributes to the Kuppi column on The Island and is a member of Kuppi Collective which is "a politics and pedagogy happening on the margins of the lecture hall that parodies, subverts, and simultaneously reaffirms social hierarchies".
