Jay Culmone (he, him)’s research and creative work centers on interactivity and hybridity across speculative, climate, and popular fiction. Particularly, his work explores the intersection between the conventions of literary fiction and popular fiction, graphic novels, and hybrid storytelling. Previously he has earned an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Virginia Tech and has been awarded an artist residency with the Vermont Studio Center
