Course Description

Many great writers have come out of Missouri during its 200 years, and they have created literary works that reflect and reflect on life here, from the Missouri Crisis of the 1820s to Ferguson in 2014. Whether they lived in the last Eastern city of St. Louis or the once Western Kansas City, in a small town or a suburb, along a river or on a farm, their novels, stories, poems, plays, and standup comedy can show us what it has meant to be from the Show-Me State.
