In this course, we will read some of the best contemporary writers from around the world--including fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. By the end of the class, you will have improved your skills in cross-cultural communication and writing across cultures, both of which can be helpful additions to your resume and crucial skills for any new job. You will also have a fun time learning and talking about different parts of the world and its amazing authors.  We will read selections from The Norton Anthology of World Literature. This course meets the Diversity Intensive course requirement.
