Students are encouraged to secure their own internships in a range of professional areas beyond the university. Skills developed in English classes (writing, researching, organizing/synthesizing information) have recently led students to internships in government, public relations, event planning, digital production, and more. If you have landed an internship outside of the field of publishing and want English credit, this course number is used for that purpose.
