On Thursday, November 5th, at 4pm in Cook Hall (State Historical Society of Missouri, 605 Elm St.) we will host Proctor visiting writer Paisley Rekdal, poet and nonfiction-writer and author of eight collections of poetry and five books of prose, including the recent book Appropriate: A Provocation, which is written as a letter to a student who is interested in writing stories from outside of their cultural identity, about how to “appropriate” in literature in an informed and respectful way.
