This section of English 1000 Honors is focused on Writing about Migration, and is a course that explores rhetorical situations surrounding human migration such as news reports, political decisions and actions, and migrant narratives; a course that researches the scholarship on human migration, citizenship, asylum, refugeeism, and the historical and political circumstances surrounding specific instances of migration; and a course that guides students through reading, researching, writing, and presenting about human migration.
