This 1-credit course is designed to help you explore career options beyond academia through discerning personal career values, researching potential career paths, preparing professional documents, and accessing resources for professional support beyond this course. Through approaches including workshop sessions on topics such as translating teaching experience and converting your CV to a resume, guest speakers, and informational interviews, we’ll both imagine possible futures and learn how to leverage our skills and humanities training towards careers in industry, the nonprofit world, media, government, and many other fields.
