What we do know from this particular arrangement of six words is that emotionally expansive fictional worlds can come in unexpectedly small packages. In this course, we will read stories by flash fiction trailblazers like Kathy Fish and Sherrie Flick. Students will also write flash pieces of their own and will leave the class with a portfolio of submission-ready work.
