English 1510 is a writing workshop for students with serious interest in prose fiction. This is a beginning-level course. However, students are expected to be competent at prose writing. All classes will use a combination of stories read from online resources and from the students themselves.  I will also be giving background information on resources and techniques for good storytelling.  It will include such elements as conflict, setting, and illumination.
