What is a story, and what makes a good one? There are authorities on such questions, people who may be willing to promote regulations. This semester, however, we'll be flying mostly solo. Reading from a wide and diverse list of examples, and engaging with experiments of our own, we will come to regard the story as one of the last great open questions.
