Course Description

In this course, students will be exposed not just to the inherently collaborative or community nature of most compositions, entailing such processes as invention, drafting, feedback, and revision. Students will also learn about various writing genres and activities, such as the literacy narrative, rhetorical analysis, and the researched problem-solving essay. One of the course’s highlights is its last unit: essay presentations. Each student will have an opportunity to share their problem-solving essay with the whole class.
