Creative Writing: Intermediate Fiction

In this course, we’ll work closely to study and practice fiction writing as both a craft and an art. Together, we’ll explore elements such as voice, description, conflict, and characterization, and create our own pieces that both experiment with and encompass learned techniques in storytelling. We will examine published works of fiction and workshop each other’s writing, providing feedback to our peers in a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and technical growth.
