Course Description

This one-credit online course is designed for English students who want to prepare for the world of post-college work.

Topics covered will include:

• the range of careers students who've studied English pursue
• ways you can think about what you might be most suited for and most interested in
• how to write job materials (like resumes and application letters) and how to interview

We will watch videos from people connecting their work to the skills they learned in English and complete assignments designed to help with the identification and pursuit of careers. Assignments include online discussion and group work, short written assignments, and brief video presentations.
