Video Games and Storytelling explores the interplay between game and story in video game media. In this course we will play, analyze, and even make video games, focusing on games with strong narratives. We will also be engaging with broader theories in literary and visual studies, considering how they apply to video game narrative. Texts include video games themselves, as well as a selection of critical/theoretical resources.
