Course Description

English 2030 is designed to prepare you for the communication tasks and writing situations you will encounter in your professional life. It will equip you with the rhetorical skills and flexibility required to prepare effective documents for specific audiences using appropriate formats. To develop these rhetorical skills, this course will focus on writing audience-driven documents typically found in professional settings, starting with basic correspondences and application materials, and then moving into proposals, presentations, and networking experiences. The class culminates in a collaborative report and presentation.
