The Body Project Anatomy, Relationships, and Representations: An Interdisciplinary Study Saturday, April 12, 2008 - University of Missouri, Alumni Center The Body Project, an interdisciplinary conference organized by graduate students at the University of Missouri, is designed to bring together students and researchers from a wide range of fields to present their work on the human body--its physiology, representations, and negotiations. Faculty, students, staff, and community members are invited and encouraged to attend this first MU interdisciplinary graduate student conference, representing 22 departments across the disciplines. The conference keynote speaker is Dr. Stefanie Englestein from German and Russian Studies. The conference is free and open to the University public. The Body Project is sponsored by the English Graduate Student Association and the Center for Arts and Humanities, and has been planned and executed by representatives from more than a dozen departments across campus.
