Martha D. Patton
Martha D. Patton specializes in writing in the disciplines, particularly in the sciences, although she teaches a range of courses in writing, women's literature, and the humanities. She has published several book chapters as well as articles in journals such as The Writing Instructor, The Journal of Technical Writing and Communication, and The Journal of the Council of Writing Program Administrators. Her current book project is called From the Organism to the Environment: A Darwinian Study of WID Illustrated with Cases from Civil Engineering.
