Course Availability
When all regular sections of English 1000 are full, students who would still like to enroll in the course should monitor MyZou for occasional openings. Override requests should be directed to individual instructors. Students other than freshmen may contact the Composition Office for more information.

English 1000—Exposition and Argumentation
This first-year writing course stresses writing as a process, with due attention given to critical reading and thinking skills applicable to all college classes, as well as to invention, drafting, revising, and rewriting. English 1000 is a prerequisite for any Writing Intensive course.
