- Chawton House Library Visiting Research Fellowship:
Located on an estate once owned by Jane Austen's brother Edward, Chawton House is the home to a collection of early editions of works written by women from 1600-1830. Fellows are housed on the Library grounds and participate in activities at the University of Southampton, including an invited lecture. Past Fellows include such scholars as Deirdre Le Faye, Juliet McMaster, and Hermione Lee.
